Skyrim Realistic Overhaul is – in our opinion – the best high resolution Texture Pack for Skyrim. The attention to detail is amazing and the quality of its textures is unmatched. Modder ‘Starac’ has released a new update for it that adds some missing normal maps and comes with new various new textures. Reset – Debut Trailer

Theory Interactive has released an impressive trailer for their upcoming puzzle game, Reset. Reset is a Single player co-op first person puzzle game with emphasis on story and atmosphere and everything you are about to see in the trailer is straight from the in-game engine. No up-ressed textures, geometry or effects. What you see is what you will get and it looks bloody amazing. Keep also in mind that the game is still in alpha phase, so it might get even prettier. STALKER 2 is dead; Long live Survarium, a free-to-play MMOFPS, spiritual successor to STALKER

And we saw that coming. Even though the STALKER 2 team was reassuring us that STALKER 2 would not be cancelled, we knew that wasn’t the truth. So, PC gamers, say goodbye to STALKER 2 and hello to Survarium. Survarium is what STALKER 2 was meant to be and can be considered as the spiritual successor to the first STALKER. The game is developed by Vostok Games, as GSC GameWorld has closed its doors and is no more. Oh, and this is no more a Single Player game but a free-to-play MMOFPS. Crytek – Crysis 2 was made with casual gamers in mind, Crysis 3 may have limited graphics options

Ah, Crysis 2. There was so potential after Crysis 1 and Crytek did really f’ it up. PC gamers were expecting a similar experience to the first part of this franchise, but they were let down by their beloved studio. And finally, after this whole time, Crytek decided to reveal that Crysis 2 was made with casual gamers in mind. Which is what we’ve been saying from the get go but… well, at least they admitted it. Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition – post-launch content confirmed, AI pathfinding will be tweaked

Trent Oster has revealed some new interesting information about the Enhanced Edition of both Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2. According to Oster, there are currently 8 ex-BioWare developers working on it and the game’s UI is being reworked. Oster also admitted that they are pretty anxious to keep both of the Enhanced Editions going after release and that new content is a big part of those plans. In other words, we can expect some post-launch DLCs for it. It has not been decided yet whether these will be for free or not. Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers – Gameplay Trailer

bitComposer have released a new gameplay trailer for their arcade flight combat game, Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers. Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers combines authentic Second World War settings and a fictitious story that will lead the player through the Arcade-Flight-Action. The starting point for all the flight missions in the campaign is an aircraft carrier in the Pacific, which the player commands as the captain of the ship. The player decides at the beginning of the game whether to engage in battle under the flag of the US Navy or the Japanese Imperial Fleet. Total conversion ‘Sapience’ for Crysis 2 will make you more excited for it than Crysis 3

Fact number 1: both Sapience and Crysis 3 use the latest version of CryEngine 3. Fact number 2: Sapience is a mod for Crysis 2 that comes with unique environments and looks more varied than Crysis 3. Fact number 3: its latest trailer puts to shame the official Crysis 3 trailer. Fact number 4: It looks bloody gorgeous. Fact is that after watching the latest trailer of Sapience, I’m more excited for this Crysis 2 mod than Crysis 3. The team behind it created an amazing trailer and you should definitely have a look at it. Sapience is slated for a 2012 release and we’ll be sure to keep you updated. Enjoy! New Gotham City Impostors Update comes with a new game mode and a new map

Warner Bros and Monolith have released a new update for the PC version of Gotham City Impostors. This update comes with various fixes, as well as a new game mode (called Bounty Hunter) and a new map (called East End). In addition, the patch adds a mute/unmute functoinality in the matchmaking lobby, the ability to select specific localized voice to be played from player and the ability to detect Toxic Gas with the BO Sniffer. As always, the update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its complete changelog below. Hard Reset: Exile – the extra content from the Extended Edition – is now available on Steam for FREE [UPDATE]

Back in March, we informed you about Hard Reset’s extra content hitting Steam for free. Well, good news for those who already own Flying Wild Hog’s FPS title as the DLC – titled as Hard Reset: Exile – is now available on Steam. As promised, this is a free DLC and it will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Kudos to Flying Wild Hog for offering such a thing. Adventure game ‘Anna’ gets a new trailer; The Music of Anna

Dreampainters have released a new trailer for their upcoming ‘Amnesia-like’ adventure game, Anna. In this video, the game’s composer – Alessandro Monopoli – discusses the importance of music in Anna.
