Nvidia has released a new video, showcasing the PhysX effects that are present in the F2P action mech title, Hawken. This video also demonstrates a soon-to-come PhysX feature in Hawken: APEX Turbulence. APEX Turbulence is a PhysX feature which uses velocity fields to simulate particle motion. Question now is whether Hawken takes advantage of PhysX 3.0 or not, and whether those PhysX effects will bring the game to its knees. AMD has released a new set of drivers for its graphics cards. AMD Catalyst 13.2 Beta 3 come with some performance improvements for Crysis 3, DmC Devil May Cry and Crysis 2. In addition, the Catalyst 13.2 Beta 3 improves – significantly – latency performance in Skyrim, Boderlands 2, and Guild Wars 2. AMD has promised to releases further drivers in the future that will improve Crysis 3’s performance but until then, go ahead and download these new drivers. Man, it’s hilarious what a simple post can get you into. Crytek’s ‘CalamariDinosaur’ has made a bad joke on the official MyCrysis forums that got a lot of PC gamers annoyed. Obviously, CalamariDinosaur was simply joking when he said to an SLI owner to buy a X360 as the PC version of Crysis 3’s beta did not run in SLI. However, that got quickly out of hand and PC gamers decided to give Crytek the middle finger for suggesting something like that. Activision has released a gameplay trailer for the first DLC Map Pack of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The Revolution DLC includes four all-new Multiplayer maps, a new Zombies Co-Op map, a brand new Zombies game mode and a bonus Multiplayer weapon, and is now available on X360.
