Gouty McGouterson has informed us about some news for the supposedly ‘dead’ mech mod for Crysis Wars, Mechwarrior: Living Legends. The development team has released a new hotfix for this amazing mod that addresses some performance issues and bugs that were included in the 0.7.0 release.
In addition, Gouty has created an easy (combined) installer for those who want to give this mod a go.
What’s more interesting is that the development team will still provide patches with balance changes and bug fixes, and that an organised mapping team will continue to create custom maps.
This obviously means that this mech mod will stay alive for as long as the community supports it.
Or at least until they get a C&D letter (and let’s hope they won’t).
