Thief fans, get ready for a treat. GameInformer will be unveiling today its cover story that is said to be a next-generation title. There are rumors that this title is Thief 4, and thankfully the first screenshots of it have been leaked. According to the Russian website GamesManiac, Thief 4 is scheduled for a 2014 release on PC and next-generation consoles, and you can find the leaked screenshots below. PC gamers, rejoice. The alpha version of Bohemia’s military sim FPS, ArmA 3, has been released. The ArmA 3 Alpha provides players with the opportunity to try out and provide feedback on the game’s military sandbox gameplay. The content in the ArmA 3 Alpha is limited, and includes four showcase missions (Infantry, Vehicles, SCUBA and Helicopter), a subset of weapons and vehicles, two multiplayer scenarios, the scenario editor and modding support. Whereas the final game will also feature the 270 km² Mediterrean island of Altis, the Alpha is positioned on Stratis – which hosts 20 km² of rugged terrain, expansive forests and a man-made airbase. Full Control has today revealed the first screenshots for the new Space Hulk game. Space Hulk is set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space. Players lead a small army of fearless Space Marine Terminators to battle in a ferocious fight for survival against hordes of predatory alien Genestealers. Today, CI Games has released the heart pounding Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Tactical Optics Trailer. The trailer shows the precise ways snipers can make stealthy take downs from long distances using an array of tools, including night vision and thermal imaging goggles, that will ensure no enemy escapes from sniping range. Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming HD version of Resident Evil: Revelations. Resident Evil Revelations features series favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, plus their respective BSAA partners – Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat. The action begins on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship, the ‘Queen Zenobia’, where horrors lurk around every corner before players head for the mainland and the devastated city of Terragrigia. Before starting, let us apologize for not offering you this Performance Analysis sooner. Unfortunately, EA seemed hesitant on sending a PC review copy, and that’s why we had to delay it. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Visceral Games’ Executive Producer lied about offering the same gaming experience to all platforms or because EA feared that we’d bring the hammer down on it. Either way, EA should not be so ashamed of it. Why you ask? But because Dead Space 3 is a fine PC port. Yes, there isn’t any FOV option and the game suffers low-resolution textures but overall, this is as good as most multi-platform games, has proper on-screen keyboard indications, has amazing mouse support, and is not taxing – while looking great – at all.
