Sony Online Entertainment released some new artworks and trailer for PAYDAY: The Heist’s upcoming DLC, the Wolf Pack. The Wolf Pack DLC was released for the PlayStation Network ($9.99/£6.45) on 2 August 2012, and will be released for Steam today. The Wolf Pack DLC features two epic new heists, the Technician skill tree which includes three awesome new weapons, a crew bonus, new player upgrades, the deployable sentry gun equipment, and a raised level cap. Activision and Treyarch have released the first Multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Ironically, the trailer starts with a scene that will remind you of DICE’s FPS title, Battlefield 3. Kalypso Media has announced its GameStop Expo 2012 lineup. Gamers will be able to get a first hands-on with two of Kalypso’s upcoming console titles at this year’s GameStop Expo. At the Expo, which will be held in San Antonio, Texas on August 29, Kalypso will be giving fans hands-on time with Omerta – City of Gangsters and Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants (playable on console and Windows PC) along with DARK (playable on Windows PC). Boy what a month. After the news of Rise of the Triad’s remake, here comes another remake for one of Monolith’s classic FPS game. Jason (Jace) Hall wants to bring back Blood and get this right – this will be identical to the original game, but with functionality alterations/enhancements that are similar but superior to ZDAEMON’s. In other words, do not expect a modern-day remake with high-resolution textures and 3D glorified graphics. This is a tribute to all old-school fans who want to revisit Monolith’s game, and dare we say it’s the best way of remaking a game. Talented Doom 3 modder Wulfen is back for more. It appears that Doom 3’s re-release sparked Wulfen’s interest and as a result of that, the modder has been working on a new update for his amazing, high-resolution Texture Pack. Codemasters and Namco Bandai announced today that both F1 2012 and F1 RACE STARS will be playable at GamesCom 2012 in Cologne, Germany from August 15th to 19th. NAMCO BANDAI Games’ stand, located in Hall 9, Stand C11, will host the world’s first hands-on showing of F1 RACE STARS and the reveal of the recently announced ‘Champions Mode’ in F1 2012.
