Well, we all knew that the latest Splinter Cell game was not a stealth game. The E3 demo proved what most of us feared. Ubisoft attempted to streamline the experience and introduce a lot of action sequences in order to attract more gamers to it. Branislav Siles, lead developer of the Atomontage Engine, has released a new set of screenshots from his voxel-based engine. Atomontage Engine promises to become one of the ultimate solutions in real-time 3D. Atomontage engine supports a number of content representations. It supports polygons, but is heavily based on voxels. Collision primitives are also supported, meaning that this engine might be able to accomplish its development team’s dreams. IO Interactive has released a new set of screenshots for Hitman: Absolution. Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47, a cold blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Betrayed by those he trusted and hunted by the police, he finds himself at the centre of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth. 2K Sports today announced that NBA 2K Online, the free-to-play NBA simulation from 2K Sports on the Tencent Games portal in China, will launch commercially on October 24. NBA 2K Online will introduce four different game modes, including the NBA Mode, where gamers can create their own avatar and join an NBA team. Players can also choose to focus more on a team-oriented style in Free Mode and Street Mode, which gives players control of an entire team. Codemasters has released the first two gameplay trailers for Grid 2. As you may already know, Grid 2 won’t feature any cockpit view and in order to prove that the game does not need one, the company has used the hood camera. In our opinion, a cockpit view would be better and no, those “in_our_faces” reflections can’t really impress us.
