Man, it’s been over three years since the launch of DSOGaming. During these past few years, we’ve had our ups and downs. And to be honest, it’s been a pretty ‘tricky’ and ‘weird’ year. As we’ve already said, 2014 was a crucial year for DSOGaming, and thankfully everything went according to our original plan. YouTube’s ‘Chadtronic’ has shared a video, showing off a HD fan remake for Nintendo’s classic Super Mario game, Super Mario 64. Super Mario 64 Fan Remake is described as a ‘not for profit project being developed by a team of individuals passionate about the magic of the original game.’ It looks beautiful, so make sure to give this video a go. Project CARS’ Physics Are Calculated 600 Times Per Second, Packs 250 Miles Of Digital Tarmac

Slightly Mad Studios has unveiled some new details about its upcoming racing game, Project CARS. According to the development team, the game’s physics are calculated 600 times per second. Moreover, the game packs 250 miles of digital tarmac, and the game’s volumetric throttle system is so advanced that checks ambient track temp & air pressure to determine how much torque is available. PC System Requirements Revealed For DONTNOD’s Episodic Adventure, Life Is Strange

Square Enix and DONTNOD Entertainment have released the PC requirements for their upcoming episodic adventure title, Life Is Strange. Life Is Strange will run on a lot of PC configurations as its PC requirements are relatively low. The game requires 2GB of RAM, a dual-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or an ATI HD 4890 GPU. Lately we’ve seen DICE’s artists experimenting with other engines than Frostbite 3. Following our previous story in which DICE’s Joakim Stigsson showed a map created with CRYENGINE, today we bring you another of DICE’s artists showcasing a WIP scene in Unreal Engine 4. Grand Theft Auto V Still Scheduled For A January 27th Release On The PC

Two weeks ago, Rockstar claimed that the PC requirements for GTA V would be – hopefully – released before the end of 2014. Well, it’s January 2015 and there is still no word about them. Not only that, but Valve has not even set a specific release date for Rockstar’s title on Steam. As a result of these two things, a lot of gamers wondered whether GTA V PC has been – secretly – pushed back to February or even March. Project CARS is developed by Slightly Mad Studios whereas RaceRoom is created by SimBin Studios. Fallout: New Vegas Modded Looks Incredible For A Four-Year Old Title In 4K Resolutions

Reddit’s member ‘hi9’ has shared a set of screenshots from a modded version of Fallout: New Vegas. hi9 used a custom ENB present based on ENB of the Apocalypse, as well some WIP textures that have not been released as of yet. The result is a really crisp image that looks way better than the original, unmodded version Fallout: New Vegas (though some will argue over the amount of sharpness used in these images). Enjoy!
