Total War: WARHAMMER was a strategy game that really disappointed us with its underwhelming performance in DX12 back in 2016. Naturally, we were expecting better things from its successor, however it appears that the game suffers from both single-thread CPU issues, as well as underwhelming DX12 performance on both NVIDIA’s and AMD’s graphics cards. Demo released for the fan remake of Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 in the Unity Engine

Sonic fans, here is something for you today. Sonic NEXT PC Team has released a demo of the Sonic 2006 fan remake in Unity Engine. Now we know that SEGA is fans of remakes and recreations, so we are pretty sure that the team will not receive a C&D letter, even though the game uses assets from Sonic 2006. Cuphead – First Impressions + First 15 Minutes Gameplay Footage

StudioMDHR Entertainment has just released its run and gun action game that is heavily focused on boss battles, Cuphead. And this is one of the best indie releases of 2017. Seriously, I strongly suggest getting it, even though some will find it difficult. This is a great game and since it’s also available on GOG as a DRM-free game, it deserves to sell a lot of units. New gaming benchmarks revealed for Intel’s Core i7 8700K & 8600K (six games tested)

Lab501 has broken the embargo and leaked some new gaming benchmarks for Intel’s upcoming CPUs, the Intel Core i7 8700K and the Intel Core i7 8600K. Lab501 has tested six games and according to their findings, there is not that big of a performance difference between the 7700K and the 8700K (despite the fact that the 8700K is slightly faster in most cases). The free-to-play market has grown 28% year-over-year, PUBG surpasses WoW on the total PC games list

SuperData has released its worldwide digital video games stats for August 2017. According to the stats, and even though the PC segment shrank 10% year-over-year, the free-to-play market has grown 28% year-over-year. This shows how many developers are, in 2017, adopting this model for their games, and could perhaps give us an idea of what will happen in 2018.
