The team behind Dusklight, the unofficial PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, has released a new update for it. Update 1.4.1 came out a couple of days ago, and from what I can see, it’s a smaller patch (compared to 1.4.0). So, let’s see what it brings to the table.
Update 1.4.1 adds support for Clawshot hanging and Hawkeye with touch controls. It also allows you to configure Android Surface.setFrameRate. This should improve performance on some mobile devices.
Moreover, Update 1.4.1 fixes a performance regression issue that could occur on some AMD GPUs. It fixes a GPU backend fallback regression, and it fixes some texture replacement regression issues that were present in v1.4.0.
There are also a couple of fixes for mobile devices. For instance, it fixes some keyboard focus issues on Android and iOS. It also fixes an annoying 4:3 aspect ratio issue on PowerVR GPUs.
As I said, this is a small update and does not come with any new major features. So, if you’re not experiencing the issues mentioned above, you can skip it. If, on the other hand, you want to have the latest version of Dusklight, you can go ahead and download it from this link.
In case you are into projects like these, you can also download the unofficial PC port of Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Crash Team Racing, and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. You can also play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Perfect Dark, and Jak & Daxter. And that’s not all of them. We also have the unofficial PC ports of Mario Party 4, Sonic Unleashed, GoldenEye 007, and Super Smash Bros 64.
Finally, here are the full patch notes for this latest version of this unofficial PC native port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
