MaximumPC has also captured the gameplay walkthrough demo of Splinter Cell: Blacklist PC that was showcased during Nvidia’s E3 press event, and the first thing you will immediately notice is its smoothness. We don’t know the specs of the PC that was used to demo Splinter Cell: Blacklist, however we do know that the game will take advantage of the DX11 API. As you already know, Nvidia showcased CD Projekt RED’s upcoming The Witcher game during its E3 press conference. MaximumPC was able to capture a video that showcased most – if not all – of the new graphical settings that will be supported by The Witcher 3, and you can view the video below. The Witcher 3 will support a new renderer, bloom shafts, aerial perspective fog, volume based translucency, semi volumetric clouds, fur simulation (via Nvidia’s PhysX), flexible water simulation (as well as tessellated water), forward lit soft particles, screen space decals and real-time reflections. IGN has just posted a dev walkthrough for Red Barrels upcoming survival horror title, Outlast. Outlast seems able to challenge A Machine For Pigs, so it will be interesting to see which one of them will be the best PC horror title of 2013. Outlast is currently planned for a 2013 release on the PC, and will be then coming to PS4 in 2014. That is unless Red Barrels decides to delay the PC version. Polytron has released a teaser trailer for Fez II. Although the company did not reveal anything else about it, we expect to see it – sooner or later – on the PC. During E3, Bethesda has unveiled the first gameplay footage from Tango Gameworks’ upcoming horror title, The Evil Within. The Evil Within embodies the meaning of pure survival horror and will let players experience a disturbing reality as they try to break free from warped machinations that could only exist in the most horrifying worlds. Fear not though PC gamers as the second day of E3 has ended, and we are presenting you now a new mod for GTA IV. Today we bring the E3 trailers of Destiny, Dead Trigger 2 and South Park: The Stick of Truth. Dead Trigger 2’s trailer showcases the difference between Tegra 3 and Tegra 4, while South Park: The Stick of Truth’s trailer is as funny as ever. We hesitated posting Destiny’s trailer before as we don’t know whether it will be coming to the PC or not. Bungie hinted at such a release, however there is nothing concrete at this point. Konami has released the E3 2013 trailer for its upcoming soccer game that will be powered by the FOX engine, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. And to be honest, we were not impressed by what we saw. For instance, the players’ movements still seem ‘robotic’ and ‘unrealistic’. We don’t know how things will be in the final build, but right now the game lacks fluidity. Electronic Arts has released a gameplay video for its upcoming racer, Need for Speed Rivals. This new Need for Speed title is powered by the Frostbite 3 engine, meaning that we can kiss those annoying stutter issues – that were present in the previous part of the series – goodbye.
