Trion Worlds has released a new trailer for Crytek’s upcoming F2P game, Warface, that gives us a taste of what lies in store when we unite with friends and go behind enemy lines in its co-op mode. Warface promises to be a vast online universe, set in the near future. The game is said to offer a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics based on Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE 3 game development solution. Warface will provide gamers with a constantly updated extensive PVE (player versus environment) universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP (player versus player) and will be available for PC via Crytek’s free-to-play social platform GFACE. Sweet Jesus. That’s what I said when I saw what YouTube’s member ‘Dave P’ has managed to achieve with CryEngine 3. So, get ready for a treat everyone because this modder has recreated the first mission/map – from the Marine campaign – of the first Aliens vs Predator PC game in CryEngine 3. Yes, yes, this is something most of us have been waiting for and ironically, this looks as good – if not better – than the upcoming Aliens game that is being developed by Gearbox. The attention to detail is simply gorgeous, so make sure to watch it. Truth be told, there aren’t any xenomorphs but then again, Dave P promised more things to come. Reto-Moto has announced that its upcoming Heroes & Generals game will be published by Square Enix. In case you were unaware of, Heroes & Generals is a combination of First Person Shooter and Strategy game. Players can choose to play the role of Hero, fighting on the frontline on-foot and in a variety of vehicles including tanks and warplanes, or they can assume the responsibility of General, to ensure troops and combat resources are best placed to outwit the opposing army.
