Sweet Jesus. That’s what I said when I saw what YouTube’s member ‘Dave P’ has managed to achieve with CryEngine 3. So, get ready for a treat everyone because this modder has recreated the first mission/map – from the Marine campaign – of the first Aliens vs Predator PC game in CryEngine 3. Yes, yes, this is something most of us have been waiting for and ironically, this looks as good – if not better – than the upcoming Aliens game that is being developed by Gearbox. The attention to detail is simply gorgeous, so make sure to watch it. Truth be told, there aren’t any xenomorphs but then again, Dave P promised more things to come. Reto-Moto has announced that its upcoming Heroes & Generals game will be published by Square Enix. In case you were unaware of, Heroes & Generals is a combination of First Person Shooter and Strategy game. Players can choose to play the role of Hero, fighting on the frontline on-foot and in a variety of vehicles including tanks and warplanes, or they can assume the responsibility of General, to ensure troops and combat resources are best placed to outwit the opposing army. Rovio has released the official gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars that shows all the major players and a host of environments that will be featured in it. And in all seriousness, it looks really cool. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of Angry Birds, but this overhauled version is packed with some clever ideas that intrigue me. WMD’s member ‘Halcyon’ has informed us about his latest community trailer for Slightly Mad Studios’ racer, Project CARS. This new trailer is focused on the multiplayer aspect of the game, showcasing what players can expect from this mode of pCars.
