From 1992 To 2012: Graphic evolution of First Person Shooters

Doom 2
YouTube’s member ‘drloser333’ has created a cool video that showcases the graphical evolution of First Person Shooters from 1992 to 2012. This video shows off the original versions of the games that are featured – without any mods applied to them – rendered in actual resolutions of the period. Ironically, Unreal is nowhere to be found in this video and that’s a real shame as back in the days, Unreal looked better than anything available. That’s a big foul in our opinion, though we should note that drloser333 picked only one game from almost each year. But anyway, it’s a pretty good video and the montage is awesome. Enjoy! Resident Evil 1.5 – Bonus Third-Person Camera Similar To RE 4-6

Resident Evil 2
Last week, we informed you about an early version of Resident Evil 1.5. Well, good news is that the team has not received yet any C&D letter from Capcom. What really surprised us, though, was the dedication of this team in this project and the fact that they’re experimenting with some ‘modern’ ideas. As a result of that experimentation, Resident Evil 1.5 might feature a third-person camera viewpoint, similar to the one of all recent Resident Evil games. You can view a video from a really early version of it below. Enjoy! Continue reading Resident Evil 1.5 – Bonus Third-Person Camera Similar To RE 4-6
