Rumor: Is This The First Teaser For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4?

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 v3
A new video – that looks like a teaser trailer of Modern Warfare 4 – has appeared on the Net a couple of minutes ago. Since this isn’t anything official and as nothing has been confirmed right now, you should definitely take it with a grain of salt. Still, it looked interesting so we decided to share it with you. This teaser presents Captain Price who seems to be in Mexico. GDC 2013 is underway and everyone is currently awaiting for the upcoming reveal of Battlefield 4. Therefore, this is either an intentional leak or a fake video that was created in order to take attention away from BF4. Activision declined to comment on the trailer, so this could be the real deal. That, or Activision is playing its cards right and wants to keep people guessing (at least for today). Enjoy! Continue reading Rumor: Is This The First Teaser For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4?

Unreal Engine 4-powered horror game “Daylight” gets a debut trailer

Daylight
Zombie Studios has released the debut trailer for its upcoming “randomly generated” horror game that is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, Daylight. Daylight is planned for release on Steam later this year and promises to be the first 3rd party game that will be built with Epic’s latest game engine. With only the light of a cell phone to guide them, players will navigate the halls of a dark building as a woman who’s just woken up. What’s interesting here is that every experience will be different as rooms are randomly generated, and players will only learn about the game’s story via clues they discover as they explore. Real-time Path Tracing Showcase – Brigade Engine Keeps Getting Better & Better

Brigade 2
We’ve covered the Brigade Engine in the past, and – as we said back then – we are really looking forward to see what the team behind it can achieve. Our biggest gripe with the Brigade Engine was the noise side effects that were introduced due to the low lighting samples. Back then, those side effects were horrendous. Fast forward a couple of months though, and here we are today with a new video, showcasing what the engine is capable of right now. Thankfully, the noise has been reduced, though it is still noticeable. However, it isn’t as distracting as it was originally so kudos to the team. Not only that, but games similar to Amnesia could benefit from these noise effects. Enjoy the video, courtesy of Hayssam Keilany, creator of the iCEnhancer mod for GTA IV.
