Warner Bros has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming Batman title, Batman: Arkham Origins. Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV, showcasing the in-game graphics that this fourth part of its Assassin’s Creed series will sport. In Assassin’s Creed 4, players will take the role of pirate and Assassin Edward Kenway, grandfather of Connor of Assassin’s Creed 3. Good news for all horror fans as the alpha testing phase of Among The Sleep has begun, and a number of backers have already got their hands on it. One of them is YouTube’s ‘Vaecon’ who has posted a gameplay video from it. Among The Sleep is heavily based on atmosphere and exploration, and using the two year old child’s perspective. The team aims to include some puzzle and adventure elements as well, but our main focus lies on exploration, atmosphere and horror. Our reader Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has informed us about the progress of his Mortal Kombat II Snes mod for Doom via skulltag/zandronum. According to the modder, this mod has been completed by 50% and in order to showcase the progress that has been made to it, Doomero has released a video that can be viewed below. This mod has potential, however there are still issues that need Doomero’s attention. As huge MK fans, we find it really interesting so make sure to give it a go.
