Warner Bros has released the full length CG trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins; a trailer that looks spectacular in every way. Quite honesty, this CG trailer proves the gap between in-game and pre-rendered visuals, a gap so big that even next-gen platforms (and most likely next-next-gen platforms) won’t be able to abridge. Codemasters has released yet another trailer for its upcoming racer, GRID 2. As it title suggests, this gameplay trailer shows off the Eliminator mode in Dubai. GRID 2 promises to challenge players to be fast, be first and be famous as they enter a stunning new world of competitive motorsport. The game has been in pre-production for two years and is powered by the EGO Game Technology Platform. GRID 2 is planned for a May 31st release on PC, X360 and PS3 and won’t feature a cockpit view. Yesterday, we posted our opinion about Jason Rubin’s story regarding 4A Games and the environment this studio has been working on. According to Rubin, ‘4A’s staff sat on folding wedding chairs, literally elbow to elbow at card tables in what looks more like a packed grade school cafeteria than a development studio.’ However, it seems that Rubin exaggerated as 4A Games’ office is… well… fine and not as bad as what Rubin made it look like. I mean, where exactly is the ‘elbow to elbow’ thing in that environment. Sure, this office cannot compete with those of Ubisoft, Konami or EA. But it’s not as bad as Rubin claimed. Warner Bros has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming Batman title, Batman: Arkham Origins. Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV, showcasing the in-game graphics that this fourth part of its Assassin’s Creed series will sport. In Assassin’s Creed 4, players will take the role of pirate and Assassin Edward Kenway, grandfather of Connor of Assassin’s Creed 3. As promised, the team has released today the full length movie that can be viewed below.
