SEGA has released a new set of screenshots for Gearbox’s upcoming Aliens game. Aliens: Colonial Marines promises to bring new levels of bone-chilling suspense and adrenaline-filled action to the renowned franchise. Unfortunately, from what we’ve seen so far, this new Aliens game might not be what true fans have been waiting for, especially due to the bad AI and the underwhelming combat mechanics. Perfect World Entertainment has released a new set of screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming ‘War of Shadows’ expansion for Forsaken World. Forsaken World is a 3D fantasy MMORPG that brings together the best of eastern and western cultures. War of Shadows will bring a new Lycan race, as well as new challenges. Futuremark sent us some new screenshots from one of the tests that will be featured in the new 3D Mark benchmark tool. According to the developers, Cloud Gate, one of three tests in the new 3DMark, uses a DirectX 11 engine limited to Direct3D feature level 10_0, making it suitable for testing DirectX 10 compatible hardware found in notebooks and typical home PCs. It is also an ideal benchmark for entry-level DirectX 11 integrated graphics solutions that could struggle to run the more demanding Fire Strike test. Cloud Gate will be available only in the Windows versions of 3DMark initially. We’ve also included two shots from the Fire Strike DX11 test. Enjoy! Crytek has unveiled some new screenshots and artworks for Crysis 3. Powered by Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE, Crysis 3 advances the state of the art with unparalleled visuals and dynamic shooter gameplay, and these new images showcase the game’s graphics. Players take on the role of ‘Prophet’ as he returns to New York only to discover that the city has been encased in a Nanodome created by the corrupt Cell Corporation.
