Focus Home Interactive has released 4 new screenshots for Wargame: AirLand Battle, revealing a few of the game’s new units in the middle of what seems to be exercise maneuvers. In addition, these screenshots also show the battlefields themselves underwent overhaul, with increases in variety, detail and realism. The new version of the IRISZOOM Engine is able to display immense battlefields, this time with realistic and spectacular reliefs directly reproduced from satellite images. 4A Games has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – that a new, 3D demo of Metro: Last Light will be available on Nvidia’s booth at this year’s CES. The demo will be live from January 8th to January 10th, and hopefully the company will release it on the Internet afterwards as a trailer. Dean Hall, creator of DayZ, has released a new set of screenshots from the standalone version of his zombie game that is being developed by him and Bohemia Interactive. Dean has also revealed some new information abou the standalone version. As you may have guessed, the game did not manage to hit its 2012 release date, and that was because Dean wanted to create something more than just a repackage of his mod. 2013 will definitely be the year of Project CARS. Even though Slightly Mad Studios’ racer is not – at the current state – as hardcore as rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa, it looks miles better than those two afforementioned titles. Slightly Mad Studios seems to aim for a mix between arcade and sim – instead of a pure simulation experience. This may put off some purists but still, the game promises to be better than Shift 2 or all other previous attempts. Project CARS is planned for a late 2013 release on PC, WiiU, PS3 and X360. And even though we don’t know how it will look on consoles, we already know that it looks spectacular on the PC. Enjoy!
