Although CD Projekt RED has not revealed any new information about The Witcher 3, the Polish company has released a new concept art for it that can be viewed below. What’s really surprising here is that the game’s visuals come really close to that piece of concept art, so kudos to CDPR’s artists (at least the overall atmosphere is similar). CryEngine 3 fans, today we bring you new shots and videos from modders darkchazz, Guedin, Trillville, ultranew_b, USSR_GRAND, Vladimir Somov and verroeng. The highlights of this week are Vladimir’s amazing nuclear lighthouse and Guedin’s recreation of Colonel Jack O’Neill. Guedin is working for Gameloft Montreal and decided to experiment with Crytek’s engine. The result is a highly detailed military character. Vladimir Somov, on the other hand, created a map with contrasting colder interior and warmer exterior space with good variety of surfaces, lighting and atmosphere. It looks beautiful, so make sure to check it out. Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. As always, we chose to present you only those we thought that looked impressive enough, so go ahead and take a look at them. As Slightly Mad Studios noted, all shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. The team behind Black Mesa: Insecurity, a a re-imagining of the Half-Life expansion Blue Shift, created for the Source engine mod Black Mesa, has released the first screenshots for it. This mod is being created by two gamers, and is 33% complete. There is still no ETA yet, but the duo is working hard to finish it. Hayssam Keilany has released a new set of screenshots for his amazing – yet to be released – iCEnhancer 2.5 mod for GTA IV. The following images showcase some of the changes that Keilany has done to his mod, and look as good as they can possibly get. Now imagine what GTA V will look with an iCEnhancer mod. According to the modder, this sixth beta is the latest before release, meaning that we might get our hands on it sooner than later. Ever wondered what Darksiders 2 would look like in CryEngine 3? Well, time to get a taste of it. Modder The_Distiller recreated Darksiders 2’s character, Crowfather, in CryEngine 3 and we have to admit that the end result is quite stunning. Keep also in mind that this was done by one – yet talented – modder, so imagine what a triple-A studio can achieve with Crytek’s engine. For comparison purposes, we’ve also included the a shot of Crowfather from Darksiders 2 (the one on the left). In addition, we present you some new images from the works of modders trazec, ReVan1199, Davlin, codecode and qpffhtmxj, showcasing what we can at least expect from the first batch of next-gen titles. Konami has released a new set of screenshots for PES 2014, showcasing how Italy looks on this new soccer title that is powered by the FOX Engine. And to be honest, the detail on these new screenshots is definitely better than what we saw in the previously released images.
