Polycount’s member ‘tsmith3d‘ has been working on a sci-fi project powered by Unreal Engine 4, and has recently revealed the first images from it. This sci-fi project looks incredible, sporting incredible real-time visuals. This project gives us an idea of what the next Mass Effect game could look like, so be sure to check them out. As tsmith3d noted, this project – while impressive – is still in early stage, something we can definitely notice from some square-ish rocks and the lack of ambient occlusion (especially noticeable in the last snowy image). Beyond Skyrim Mod – High Rock Province Showcased
Beyond Skyrim is a pretty interesting project. It is basically a modding collaboration of several development teams with the goal of creating the remaining provinces of Tamriel that were not included in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It sounds promising and ambitious, however I kind of believe that it will never see the light of day. Still, a couple of days ago, some images from this project’s High Rock Province were shared, showcasing the ongoing progress of that particular province. Enjoy! Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Low Versus Ultra High Comparison Screenshots
Ubisoft has just sent us a review code for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and below you can enjoy a comparison between the game’s Low and Ultra High settings. As we can see, there is a noticeable difference between these two presets. For comparison purposes, we kept the same AA solution (FXAA). Keep also in mind that we were VRAM limited on Ultra High (which resulted in stuttering issues and a bit lower overall framerate). As always, Ultra High is on the left whereas Low is on the right. Slightly off-topic, but we’d like to let you know that we’ll receive our review codes for Dragon Age: Inquisition and Far Cry 4 this Friday. Enjoy and stay tuned for our PC Performance Analysis!
