Dark Souls PC is entirely up to Namco Bandai says From Software

In a recent interview with GameTrailers, Masanori Takeuchi, head of R&D at From Software, revealed that From Software is aware of the high demand for a PC version of Dark Souls. Not only that, but Masanori said that the port is entirely up to Namco Bandai. This is definitely something new, as there were big concerns this entire time about From Software’s knowledge of the PC hardware and whether they could actually port the game or not. PhysX comes with an incredible new destruction set, Unreal Engine 4 will support it

Nvidia demonstrated in this year’s GDC the latest version of their PhysX SDK. The new PhysX SDK comes with some impressive fur rendering support, as the company showcased a bear that contained 840.000 particles simulated as 100.000 invidual strands of fur. Those strands of fur could be interacted in real-time and the end result was close enough to Pixar’s CG movies. That was really great but nothing had prepared for what was about to follow. Unreal Engine 3 powered ‘Adam’s Venture 3: Revelations’ is now available for the PC

Iceberg Interactive and Vertigo Games announced today that Adam’s Venture 3: Revelations, the third and final part of the episodic adventure game series for PC, is now available at digital retailers worldwide and as a boxed version in English speaking territories in Europe. Nordic Games to distribute Gothic 3 Enhanced Gold Edition and Gothic Complete Collection on April 2nd

Nordic Games announced today that it has concluded a distribution agreement with Piranha Bytes for all existing titles of the Gothic Universe. The following new editions will be available in retail stores on 2 April 2012. Gothic 3 Enhanced Gold Edition will feature Gothic 3 and Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods in extensively improved editions, financed by Nordic Games, while Gothic Complete Collection will include all Gothics (Gothic, Gothic 2, Gothic 2 Night of the Raven, Gothic 3 Enhanced and Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods Enhanced) forged into one incredible edition. Risen 2 is almost upon us and a lot of PC gamers are currently re-playing its first part. Old-school dungeon crawler ‘Legend of Grimrock’ will be released on April 2012 for the PC

Indie game developer Almost Human has announced that their old-school dungeon crawler game, Legend of Grimrock, is coming to the PC in April. Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon crawl game with great atmosphere, puzzles, combat and RPG elements. The game will be real-time instead of turn based, as the team feels that it goes well with the atmosphere of the game since the player can be surprised by creeping monsters and the mood of the combat is more intense. Tribes: Ascend is coming out next month

Today, at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Hi-Rez Studios announced that Tribes: Ascend will be released on April 12, 2012. Tribes: Ascend is a fast paced sci-fi FPS for the PC that bills itself the “World’s Fastest Shooter.” Supporting the announcement Hi-Rez Studios also released a parody trailer titled “Tribes Ascend – Llama Island.” Developed by Hi-Rez Studios, Tribes: Ascend will be a free-to-play title. New DOTA 2 Update rolled out, new invitations for the game’s beta sent out

Valve has released a new update for the beta version of DOTA 2. This new patch comes with some gameplay fixes, various visual/audio/UI issues resolved and improvements to the game’s bots. You can check out the complete changelog below and as always, the patch will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Diablo III Beta Patch 14 v.0.8.0.8815 Released; Hardcore Mode Enabled

Blizzard has released a new patch for the beta version of Diablo III. This new patch enables the Hardcore Mode and comes with some changes to the game’s classes. In this latest beta version of Diablo III, right-clicking a skill hot-key will now open the skill interface and in Elective mode, skills can now be dragged and dropped from the skill interface into hot-key slots. Furthermore, Magic Find and Gold Find are now shared amongst party members and cast time to resurrect a fallen ally has been increased from 1 second to 3 seconds.
