Legend of Grimrock gets its first patch; quick save/load, frame rate limiter & camera bobbing option

Almost Human have released the first update for their old-school dungeon-crawler RPG, Legend of Grimrock. This update includes a quick save/load system, a frame rate limiter and a camera bobbing option that is only available by editing the config file manually. This patch will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its complete changelog below. Enjoy! PC gaming is dead… NOT; Legend of Grimrock turns a profit in three days

I’m overly excited to inform you guys that the amazing dungeon-crawler RPG, Legend of Grimrock, is profitable after three days of availability. After all those idiotic claims that PC gaming is dead, indie devs and small studios prove again and again that their PC sales can cover the initial costs of their games in less than a week. We’ve seen that with Alan Wake and we’re seeing this very same thing today with Almost Humans’ indie title. And how about Amnesia, an amazing horror game that remains exclusive to the PC platform? Old-school dungeon crawler ‘Legend of Grimrock’ will be released on April 2012 for the PC

Indie game developer Almost Human has announced that their old-school dungeon crawler game, Legend of Grimrock, is coming to the PC in April. Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon crawl game with great atmosphere, puzzles, combat and RPG elements. The game will be real-time instead of turn based, as the team feels that it goes well with the atmosphere of the game since the player can be surprised by creeping monsters and the mood of the combat is more intense.
