RSI and Cloud Imperium have released a new video featuring in-engine footage from their upcoming space combat title, Star Citizen, showcasing one of the new spaceships that will be featured in it. Serellan Games has released the first gameplay footage of Takedown: Red Sabre. Takedown: Red Sabre is the spiritual successor to games like the original Rainbow Six and SWAT series, and will focus on realistic weapons modeling, squad based play, in a close-quarters battle setting. Surprising news everyone. DOTA 2 has entered its open beta phase (meaning that it’s completely free to everyone) and nobody has noticed it. Hell, even Valve has not sent any press release for it as of yet. As we can clearly see below, though, DOTA 2 does not require any beta key at this point. 8-bit Studios announced that it has formalized an agreement with Epic Games to use Epic’s latest Unreal Engine 4 to develop its upcoming game, Skara—the Blade Remains. Skara will be one of very few licensed to use the “most world-class game engine to date” and it will be interesting to see how much the team will be able to push it. A new video for Watch Dogs has been leaked today, showcasing parts from the multiplayer mode of this highly anticipated title.
