Serellan Games has released the first gameplay footage of Takedown: Red Sabre. Takedown: Red Sabre is the spiritual successor to games like the original Rainbow Six and SWAT series, and will focus on realistic weapons modeling, squad based play, in a close-quarters battle setting. The following footage is from an alpha build of the PC version. Takedown: Red Sabre is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3, and promises to be a thinking-person’s shooter. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
