Rise of the Tomb Raider – First PC Patch Released, Improves HBAO+ & SLI Performance

Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes have released the first PC update for Rise of the Tomb Raider. According to the changelog, this patch introduces a new graphics option ‘Specular Reflection Quality’ to enhance resolution and reduce aliasing of specular reflections, improves HBAO+ and SLI performance, fixes SLI glitches during water/snow effects, and packs various fixes for a number of bugs. Pillars of Eternity – Forthcoming Updates Revealed, New UI & “Story Time” Mode Confirmed

Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive today revealed several forthcoming updates to Pillars of Eternity. Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 – Free-To-Play Version Now Available On The PC

Konami Digital has just announced that the PC edition of the free-to-play edition of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is available as of today. As the press release reads, from today, those who haven’t yet experienced PES 2016 will be able to download a free, entry level version of the game which boasts an Exhibition Mode complete with the choice of seven teams including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France. Warner Bros Cancels Mac & Linux Versions Of Batman: Arkham Knight

Warner Bros has just announced that it has cancelled the Mac & Linux versions of Batman: Arkham Knight. Not that we’re surprised by this news, given the state of the game’s PC version. However, it is sad news for those who were still hoping that Warner Bros would redeem itself. Tales of Symphonia – Mod Unlocks Internal Resolution

Modder “Durante” has been able to fix Tales of Symphonia’s locked resolution in just 14 minutes. Yeap, you read that right. It took Durante just 14 minutes to fix this issue, and around three hours to release a preliminary version of his mod that unlocks the game’s resolution, something that clearly shows what little effort was put into it.
