MSI announces its ‘MPG GF’ line of power supplies for Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 30 series Ampere cards

MSI has unveiled its MPG GF series of Power Supplies/PSUs in 850W, 750W & 650W variants, specially designed for Nvidia’s next-generation of Graphics Cards, including the upcoming Ampere GPU lineup. These power supplies seem to be compatible with Ampere GPUs. These are MSI’s first lineup of power supplies. The PSU’s OEM is not yet known, but my guess is that these units are made by MSI’s own in-house production line. Marvel’s Avengers releases on September 4th and Square Enix revealed that the game will receive a massive 18GB Day-1 Update. According to the team, this update will be applied automatically to the game. This basically means that this patch will be part of the final digital version that will be available on Steam. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 will get 24GB GDDR6X VRAM, & RTX 3080 to get 10GB VRAM

The memory specifications of the upcoming RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 Ampere cards have just been confirmed by Videocardz. According to Videocardz’s internal sources at Add-in-Board (AIB) Partners, it has been confirmed that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 will feature 24 GB of GDDR6X memory, while the GeForce RTX 3080 will initially launch with 10 GB of GDDR6X memory. There’s a huge difference between the RTX 3090 & the RTX 3080 when it comes to the VRAM capacity, but only these specs have been confirmed for now.
