Rumor: Is this how Doom 4 is supposed to look like?

GDC is almost upon us and everything is expecting lots of news about all the latest games. But did you know that back in January, some rumored Doom 4 screenshots got leaked? The Internet buzz started today after a post at 4Chan – and that’s why we’ve decided to mark this as a rumor and nothing more – and we wouldn’t really pay attention to them. After all, the 4Chan dude claimed that Doom 4 was cancelled, when in fact Bethesda has already stated that the game is still under development. Did you know however that the following screenshots appeared first on Playware Games’ Community section? According to them – back then – the game was not cancelled but these were supposed to be leaked screenshots of Doom 4 that were present in the portfolio of one of the game’s artists. This could be true, but as always, take everything with a grain of salt, as the following shots look similar to RAGE. Could Doom 4 take place on Earth, like in Doom 2? New Quantum Conundrum Screenshots & Artworks

Square Enix has released some new screenshots and artworks for their upcoming first–person platform puzzle game that is developed by Airtight Games and the co–creator of PORTAL, Kim Swift. Quantum Conundrum promises to feature Engaging Puzzle Gameplay, Immersive, Interactive Environment, as well as Unique Art Style and Humor. Todd Howard: mods make games better; are a huge community avenue for single player games

In an interview with G4TV, Todd Howard revealed what most of us already knew. According to Todd, mods are essential for single player games and are basically the biggest community avenue for them. This is true indeed, as there are a lot of gamers that wanted to try Skyrim due to some specific mods. In other words, mods really helped Skyrim’s sales and that’s one of the reasons that Bethesda decided to release the Creation Kit. Interstellar Marines – Deadlock 0.3.0 Trailer

Zero Point Software has released a new trailer for their browser-based FPS, Interstellar Marines. Interstellar Marines is powered by the Unity Engine and this trailer showcases the changes that were made to Deadlock. Deadlock 0.3.0 includes, among other things, the ability to shoot each other in multiplayer, new dynamic weather/game modes, new impact effects and lit particles system and weapon aiming with RDS (Red Dot Scope). Tomes of Mephistopheles gets new footage, alpha #2 coming soon

Founder of Kot In Action, Motorsep, has uploaded a new video for their upcoming indie FPS/RPG hybrid, Tomes of Mephistopheles. Tomes of Mephistopheles is a first-person action-RPG dungeon crawler. With its fast-paced fluid combat, a multitude of medieval and magical weapons, an in-depth custom spell system, and randomly generated persistent worlds, ToM is a pinnacle of the genre. WWE WrestleFest Coming To Steam In Summer 2012

Back in the days, I really loved all those 2D wrestling games. My favourite one was WWF WrestleFest. Man, that was one of the best arcade games ever. The roster was amazing, the graphics were awesome for that age, gameplay was top-notch and hit detection was polished.
