Okay everyone, good news as we’ve managed to secure five keys for you, our readers. The contest/give-away is simple; all you have to do is post a ‘Thank you’ message. Please do not post multiple comments (as they will be deleted). The contest will end tomorrow (Thursday 1st, November, at 22:00GMT). As usual, winners will be chosen randomly and comments will be sorted in chronological order. Let us remind you that this alpha trial requires a DX11 card, meaning that DX10 and DX9 owners won’t be able to run it. Enjoy! Remember the cancelled Resident Evil 2 game? Yeap, that one with Elsa Walker and Leon Kenedy? Well, good news everyone as a team of fans is currently recreating it. YouTube’s member ‘MrBZork’ has uploaded a video that showcases some of the action from this cancelled game. What is interesting here is that the video features some brand new – never before seen – scenes, suggesting that this is indeed a fan-made project or a total conversion for Resident Evil 2. There are hints for a Christmas reveal, though nothing is certain at this point. Naturally, since the team does not want to give away much – in order to avoid a C&D letter from Capcom – take it with a grain of salt. Enjoy! Electronic Arts and Crytek today announced that fans who pre-order Crysis 3 will receive a digital download copy of the original Crysis game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PC. Crysis is by far – at least in our opinion – the best part of the franchise, so this is good news for all gamers who have not picked it up yet. In Crysis, players are outfitted with the series signature Nanosuit and an arsenal of fully customisable weapons that provide a wide array of options not only for the games story missions but also every single objective and individual encounter. Peter Moore and PC have never been the best pals. When Moore was working in MS, PC gamers hated him for not supporting their beloved platform. Of course, Peter had nothing to do with this whole thing as he expressed MS’ stance and did not boycott the PC. But that had little to do with PC gamers’ feelings towards him. And when he joined EA, PC gamers hated him even more as the PC versions of NBA Live and NHL got cancelled (and let’s not forget that the PC was getting the ‘old-generation’ version of the Fifa series back then). Surprising news then for all of you as Peter Moore stated that PC – as a whole – is an attractive platform. Activision and LG have released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 that showcases how shocked gamers will actually be with the 3D version of Black Ops 2. As with all 3D commercials, they exagerate in order to impress everyone (and especially teenagers who have not experienced 3D before). On the other hand, though, it will be interesting to see whether consoles will be able to handle this title in 3D and whether there will be any noticeable slowdowns. It will also be interesting to see how the new DX11 renderer will handle 3D on the PC. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is planned for a November 12th release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy!
