Sweet Jesus. That’s what I said when I saw what YouTube’s member ‘Dave P’ has managed to achieve with CryEngine 3. So, get ready for a treat everyone because this modder has recreated the first mission/map – from the Marine campaign – of the first Aliens vs Predator PC game in CryEngine 3. Yes, yes, this is something most of us have been waiting for and ironically, this looks as good – if not better – than the upcoming Aliens game that is being developed by Gearbox. The attention to detail is simply gorgeous, so make sure to watch it. Truth be told, there aren’t any xenomorphs but then again, Dave P promised more things to come. BioWare has released the first set of screenshots for the upcoming Omega DLC of Mass Effect 3. The Omega DLC will be unleashed on November 27th, will be priced at 15$ and according to BioWare, this will be the biggest DLC to date for Mass Effect 3 and will be twice the size of the largest Mass Effect 3 DLC so far. Well, it was to be expected. Halo 4 has just been launched on X360 and in attempt to further push its sales, Microsoft has stated that the game will not come to the PC. According to Penny-Arcade, a Microsoft spokesperson told them that Halo 4 will not be ported to the PC platform because the game has been designed for the X360 system. Which sounds similar to Microsoft’s excuse about the – temporarily – absence of Alan Wake from the PC (remember that sofa-thing and how the game was meant to be played?).
