Techland has released the first patch for the PC version of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. According to its changelog, this update patches up heavy stuttering when using certain keyboard and mouse models and fixes some sound issues that were present on 7.1 speaker configurations. In addition, this update offers PC gamers the ability to tweak the game’s FOV to their liking and to disable the black borders (via the video.ini file). Camel 101 has informed us about its new real time strategy title, Black Talons. The game is set in a sci-fi universe, featuring a mercenary commander trying to prevail in a ravaged star system. According to its press release, Black Talons is a new incursion on the universe Camel 101 discovered on Gemini Wars, an innovative real time strategy title released a year ago. Square Enix has revealed that its three top titles – Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs and Hitman: Absolution – have broken even, meaning that even though these titles did not sufficiently contribute to Square Enix’s profits, their development expenses were covered. Pearl Abyss has released a new trailer for its upcoming MMORPG, Black Desert Online. At first, Black Desert Online looks a bit weird, especially due to its aggressive LOD values. But then we get to see all the little details that Pearl Abyss has added to it, as well as the varied environments that are so gorgeously detailed. Add to this a nice lighting system and some highly detailed characters and you got yourself an MMORPG capable to rival those that are planned for next-gen platforms. Black Desert Online will enter its closed beta phase in South Korea in 2013, and its European release is rumored for 2015. Enjoy!
