Frontier Developments has rolled out a new update for the alpha version of Elite: Dangerous that adds support for Oculus Rift and stereoscopic 3D. Not only that, but this update comes with support for anaglyph rendering – old school Red/Cyan rendering for those without Oculus Rift or a 3D TV but with some vintage red/cyan glasses – as well as support for TrackIR. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance – Graphics Options Detailed, 1080p Max Resolution + First Screenshots
A lot of our fans have been waiting for the PC version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which will finally hit our platform in early January. Konami has added some graphics options to this new version and according to JP Kellams, Creative Producer at PlatinumGames, the game won’t support resolutions higher than 1080p. Gazillion Entertainment has released a new major update for Marvel Heroes. In addition to the new enormous battle zones raging across Asgard that have been added, Ghost Rider has joined Marvel Heroes as the latest playable hero on the extensive roster of fan-favorite Marvel superheroes. Ghost Rider is now available to all players as they team up to stop the Dark Elf Malekith and his armies from destroying Asgard. Good news – or bad, depends on your perspective – everyone as a new Saints Row game is currently under development. Actor-comedian Jay Mohr revealed two days ago that he was about to do his ‘voice over work for new Saints Row video game.’ Now the reason we are not claiming that this is Saints Row V is simple – this good very well be a DLC or an expansion. Insurgency Gets An Official Gameplay Trailer, Gets A 50% Discount Until January 2nd
New World Interactive has released a new gameplay trailer for its Source-powered tactical multiplayer title, Insurgency. Insurgency has been currently launched via Steam’s Early Access program and aims to feature over 20 weapons with numerous attachments, no crosshair, and a focus on realistic weapon behavior including a free-aim system and intense suppression effects. According to Valve, we’ll have new deals each and every day, and more than 2000 games will go on sale. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Coming March 25th
Blizzard has unveiled that Diablo III’s expansion, Reaper of Souls, will be coming to the PC on March 25th. This information comes straight from the official website, via which you can pre-order both the standard and the digital deluxe edition of Reaper of Souls. According to its description, Reaper of Souls will require a copy of Diablo III – in other words it won’t be a standalone expansion – as well as an Internet connection and a Battle.net account.
