Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty – Gameplay Trailer + New Screenshots

Oddworld Inhabitants has today released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming platformer-adventure Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. According to the press release, the gameplay footage, which shows off the game’s dynamic lighting, organic animation and special effects, is designed to showcase the vast improvements made over the original Abe’s Oddysee, on which New ‘n’ Tasty is based. AMD’s Mantle Developer Beta Program Begins This April, Will Go Public Afterwards

During GDC 2014, it has been revealed that AMD’s Mantle program for developers will begin this April. According to the following slide, Mantle’s Beta SDK website will be opening this April. The catch here is that access to it will be limited to a select few. In short, don’t expect small indie developers to get their hands on it.
