Sonic Forces – New Infinite battle footage revealed

SEGA released today brand new Infinite battle footage from Sonic Forces. This new footage showcases the Bird Hero Character battling with the Lightning Wispon, and the Cat Hero Character attacking with the Cube Wispon. Players can take advantage of two different Hero Characters’ abilities and Wispons thanks to the “Rental Avatar” Hero Swapping feature. Team17 has announced that it has partnered with Westwood Studios and Command & Conquer veterans Petroglyph Games to release Forged Battalion. Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue is a 2D platformer from Atlus that is available for free on the PC

Last week, Atlus released a new trailer Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. This upgraded version of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey is coming out on Nintendo 3DS. In order to promote this game, Atlus used a ‘fake’ 2D platformer in its latest trailer, which is now called Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue. And it appears that the company has released this platformer for free on the PC. Ray-tracing in games requires 100X more powerful GPUs, photorealistic virtual reality requires 40X

As we’ve said numerous times, we believe that ray-tracing is the future of lighting in video-games. While there have been some attempts in various tech demos to implement a fully ray-tracing rendering system, we haven’t seen any triple-A game featuring it. And from the looks of it, we won’t see such a thing anytime soon. According to NVIDIA’s president in Brasil, Richard Cameron, we need 100 times more powerful graphics cards to achieve this. CRYENGINE-powered multiplayer first-person shooter, Deceit, is now free to play

Automaton has announced that its multiplayer first-person shooter, Deceit, is now free to play. In Deceit, players wake up in an asylum to the sound of an unfamiliar voice, surrounded by five others. A third of the group has been infected with a virus. Those that are healthy will have to find a way to escape, while the infected ones will have to… infect them.
