Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. Circle of Eight’s forum member ‘Allyx’ and a team is currently working on bringing the original Icewind Dale game to Temple of Elemental Evil. Contrary to other projects, this will simply be a total conversion mod that will be using assets directly from the original Icewind Dale game.

It’s almost a given by now that we won’t be getting Half-Life 3… ever. Still, this doesn’t mean that Valve wasn’t working on such a game. According to GameInformer’s Andrew Reiner, Half-Life 3 was a hot mess and had a lot of prototypes from very small teams.
