In February 2025, we informed you about a mod that brought support for DLSS 3 Frame Gen in Skyrim. And today, I’m happy to report that a new version of this mod is available with support for AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Gen.
What this means is that now everyone will be able to enjoy FSR 3.1 Frame Gen. This is a big deal as Skyrim can easily become CPU-bound. So, by using this mod, you will be able to enjoy it at higher framerates.
Do note that this mod does not add support for DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen or Reflex 1/2. It only brings support for the classic DLSS 3 Frame Gen tech. On the other hand, the team claims that AMD Anti-Lag 2 should be compatible with it.
Ideally, you should use this mod with a base framerate of 60+FPS. Do not use it if you are below 40FPS because you might get a laggier experience.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link. The mod supports both Windowed and Borderless Fullscreen. Moreover, you’ll need the Community Shaders, otherwise it won’t work. Oh, and the mod is not compatible with VR.
Speaking of Skyrim, here are some big fan expansions for it. The First one is Wyrmstooth. Wyrmstooth will add new quests and dungeons to the game. Then there is this mod that brings elements from The Witcher games into Skyrim. Dragon Hall Tavern is a huge 2GB mod that adds quests, new places, an arena, and more. Then there’s Land of Vominhem, Apotheosis and Legacy of the Dragonborn. Don’t forget to also check out this Castlevania-inspired mod. Modders have also recreated the classic PSX game, MediEvil in Skyrim. Shumer and the Priest Kings is another DLC fan expansion mod with over 200 locations, 180+ quests and 8,500 lines of voiced dialogue. Oh, and here is another one that adds the cool Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to it. Lastly, we have this mod that adds six new islands to explore.
And that’s not all. Skyrim has other mods that add lots of cool stuff.
For instance, this Call of Duty Mod adds 12 new fully functional weapons. Then we have this mod that brings epic battles with hundreds of infantry, tanks, and aircrafts. This is one of the best modern-day mods for Skyrim, so be sure to check it out. There’s also a cool mod that allows you to destroy a lot of objects. You can also download this mod that makes the NPCs smarter. With this mod, NPCs will now have a dynamic AI system, and they’ll seek for cover.
Let’s also not forget this mod that adds unlimited dynamic light sources. Or how about this one that adds a dynamic sanity system? Not only that but this mod adds a real-time dismemberment system. And then we have this cool World of Tanks Mod. Finally, these mods add Subsurface Scattering, Dynamic Cubemaps, Water Caustics and Parallax Mapping to the game.

That program is pretty great. I built my friend a PC recently, but the best I could do for the budget for the time being was a 2nd hand GTX 970. It was going pretty good since we're mostly interested in playing older games anyway (modern AAA is mostly shxt, as you know) since we're using a 1080p TV, then the dude bought a 4K TV and it had me groaning. Using lossless scaling's FSR filter to scale 1080p to 4k is not the greatest visually but it gets the job done for giving much better performance.
Yeah it’s great but a lot of people can’t figure out how to use that app. V-sync should be turned off by default and the new adaptive mode should help with dumb folks like durka durka.

You can run this on a fridge, what's even the point beyond because i can destroy the image by making it blurry but running at 500 fps
That's what I was thinking as well. This is a 13 year old game. I was curious what it would run on and Bethesda said back in the day minimum 7600 GT and recommended GTX 260. We're talking ancient hardware here.
like i said if you install alot of graphics mods every bethesda game runs like crap, especially since they are cpu bound, so increasing framerate with frame gen can really help in the city areas. For example no matter how good your pc is, morrowind and new vegas will run like crap with too many mods.
