Wasteland 2 To Be Released At The End Of August

inXile Entertainment announced today that its highly anticipated RPG, Wasteland 2, will be released at the end of August. The company claimed that while it is internally feature complete, it is not feature locked. This – according to the devs themselves – means that while every feature is in its dev builds, it is still testing functionality, gameplay balance impact and even quality. inXile entertainment has revealed a 20 minutes long trailer for its upcoming RPG, Wasteland 2, showcasing its Prison level. Wasteland 2 promises to feature a strong storyline in which players will have to make painful decisions, and a storyline that will allow for maximum re-playability. Brian Fargo and inXile Entertainment have released the first proper footage of their upcoming isometric sequel to the first ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG, Wasteland. Wasteland 2 promises to feature a strong storyline in which players will have to make painful decisions, and a storyline that will allow for maximum re-playability. The game is powered by the Unity Engine and with the exception of the not implemented yet Mini Map and some placeholder sounds and portraits, this demo will show you what you can expect to see in Wasteland 2. Wasteland 2 – First Screenshot Revealed

Brian Fargo has unveiled the first Wasteland 2 screenshot that can be viewed below. Wasteland 2 will be using the latest version of the Unity Engine. Unity Engine has been chosen because it offers Windows/Mac/Linux support, support and expertise available from vendor and in community, adaptability for player modding, and 3D rendering, pathing, AI, physics, character animation tools.
