Riot Games introduces tray icon and notifications to Valorant’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard

After heavy criticism, Riot Games has updated the anti-cheat system/program for Valorant. As such, the latest version of Vanguard introduces a tray icon and notifications pop-ups. These new additions, according to the team, will make it easier to disable Vanguard when you’re not playing the game. Riot Games on Valorant’s anti-cheat: “we run a driver at system startup, it doesn’t scan anything”

Riot Games has shed some light on the Anti-Cheat system that it uses for Valorant. According to the developers, Riot Games uses a a driver at system startup that it doesn’t scan anything. So yeah, the game actually installs an external program, however, players are free to remove it whenever they want. It appears that IGN has leaked the first screenshots for Riot Games’ upcoming first-person tactical shooter, Project A. According to reports, Project A will be now called Valorant, and these screenshots will give an idea of its art style.
