Closed beta phase for Riot’s first-person tactical shooter, Valorant, begins on April 7th

Riot Games has announced that the closed beta phase for Valorant will begin on April 7th. Valorant is a first-person 5v5 character-based tactical shooter, and its closed beta will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.

Valorant will have 128-tick servers and at least 30 frames per second on most min-spec computers. Riot Games promises 60 to 144+ FPS on modern gaming rigs, a global spread of datacenters aimed at <35ms for players in major cities around the world. Furthermore, the game will have an anti-cheat system from day one.

Valorant also promises to have precise, consequential, and highly-lethal shooting mechanics. Riot Games describes the game as a tactical shooter with hypernatural powers. Thus, players will be able to use their own moves to outplay their opponents and beat them to the shot.

Lastly, signs-ups are now open for the game’s closed beta phase. Therefore, and if you are interested in it, you can go ahead and visit its official website.
