Assassin’s Creed 3 – Official AnvilNext Trailer

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 that focuses on the AnvilNext Engine that powers it. According to the company, in the heart of Assassin’s Creed III, lies a radically redesigned game engine they call AnvilNext. This proprietary technology renders seamless worlds of nearly infinite possibilities. Assassin’s Creed 3 is currently planned for an October 31st release on X360, PS3 and PC. Enjoy! Ghost Recon: Future Soldier PC – Update 1.4 Coming On August 13th With Free Content

Ubisoft revealed that the highly anticipated PC Update 1.4 for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will come out on August 13th. According to a press release, Ubisoft and its development studios are excited to see the passion of the Ghost Recon Future Soldier PC community and want to honor the dedication and loyalty of the community by working with you, the players, to improve the game experience. Splinter Cell: Blacklist – New Screenshot Released

Ubisoft has released a new screenshot for Splinter Cell: Blacklist which showcases Sam’s ability to drag enemy bodies. Yes yes, players will be able to drag bodies in the latest iteration of Splinter Cell. In Blacklist, players will be rewarded by their ability to play stealthily/remain undetected. In other words, the stealth mechanics will be better than those of Conviction. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is currently planned for a March 2013 release on PC, X360 and Ps3. Enjoy! TrackMania 2 Canyon: Platform DLC Revealed – Free DLC available Now

Ubisoft revealed today that a new game-mode heading to TrackMania 2 for free via ManiaPlanet and in order to celebrate it, the company released a new trailer to showcase it. TrackMania 2 Canyon: Platform will feature a new solo campaign that is made of 23 tracks and comes with dedicated online rankings. The DLC is right now available and can be downloaded from here. Assassin’s Creed 3 has a whole development team dedicated to its DLCs

We assume we are not the only ones believing that DLC is the cancer of gaming and should be eradicated as soon as possible. You see, back in the days developers provided users with modding tools to create their own content and share it with other players. But since the introduction of this DLC crap, we’ve been getting unimpressive and cash-in additional contents, with some of them being cut from the actual games. And it seems that Ubisoft will be investing on this whole DLC thing as they have dedicated a whole dev team to it. Splinter Cell: Blacklist – Pop-up E3 2012 Trailer

Ubisoft has re-released the E3 2012 trailer of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. In this new version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s E3 2012 trailer, Ubisoft has added a lot new information about their upcoming third person action/stealth shooter. Sam will be able to take out enemies and drag their bodies to hide them. In addition, Sam will have better reflexes than his enemies, meaning that there might be a slow-mo feature (or the return of Mark and Execute that was present in Conviction). Assassin’s Creed 3 PC will support DX11, dedicated team working on it, on track for October release

Ubisoft’s creative lead, Alex Hutchinson, has revealed in this year’s Comic-Con that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will support DX11. Hutchinson said that a dedicated team is working on the PC version and that the game will take advantage of many DX11 features. Hutchinson did not reveal what those features could actually be, but we expect to see tessellation support as this is the highlight of DX11.
