The Witcher series has sold 25 million copies worldwide

CD Projekt RED has announced that its The Witcher series has sold – so far – 25 million copies worldwide. CD Projekt RED has also reported 584 million PLN in sales revenues and 251 million PLN in net profit for 2016. The Witcher’s Combat System Was Inspired By Summoner, E3 2004 Build Showcased

YouTube’s member ‘ryslaw’ has shared a video, showcasing the E3 2004 build of the first The Witcher game. As ryslaw revealed, the game’s combat mechanics were inspired by another RPG called Summoner (in which you could chain attacks). This version was powered by the Aurora Engine that was used in Neverwinter Nights. It looks cool, so be sure to check it out. The Witcher 1 VS The Witcher 2 VS The Witcher 3 – Geralt’s, Merigold’s & Zoltan’s Visual Evolution

Yesterday, CD Projekt RED released a new set of screenshots for The Witcher 3. In one of them, a really familiar character was featured and that was no other than Zoltan. Zoltan has been in every part of the ‘The Witcher’ series, so it’s time now to witness the graphical evolution of that character. As a bonus, we’ve also included Geralt’s and Merigold’s evolutions. This comparison should make it clear that The Witcher 3 is not a simple ‘open world The Witcher 2’ game. The Witcher Saga Inspired Environment Showcased In Unreal Engine 4, Looks Phenomenal

Polycount’s member ‘Tepcio’ has shared some new images from a map he has just finished. This map is based on The Witcher Saga, and gives us an idea of what that a desert region (a region that CD Projekt RED never included in its games) could look like in Unreal Engine 4. CD Projekt RED revealed today that the ‘The Witcher’ series has sold six million copies combined. In addition, Geralt is celebrating today his sixth birthday.
