GOG.com gives away a free copy of The Witcher for every new purchase, offer lasts until October 17th

The Witcher 2 v2

GOG.com announced that it is offering The Witcher: Enhanced Edition free with any other purchase on GOG.com until October 17, 2013 at 9:59 AM GMT. To add even more excitement to the mix, GOG put the recently released genre mashup Dragon Commander on 40% discount and unleashed a social media contest with exclusive 3D-printed Dragon Commander figurines.

As the press release reads, in the final week of GOG.com 5 Birthday Celebration all customers will receive a free copy of The Witcher with any purchase. For all those who have already experienced CD Projekt Red’s classic GOG.com has a different offer: Dragon Commander, the critically acclaimed fantasy strategy RPG is available 40% off for only $26.79, with exclusive 3D-printed Dragon Commander figurines up for grabs through liking the Facebook pages at GOG.com, Dragon Commander developer Larian, and PC Gamer.

So, great news overall for those who have not experienced the first part of the ‘The Witcher’ series. This giveaway also shows how great CD Projekt actually is. Contrary to other developers, CPPR is approaching PC gamers via a different path – and that path seems to be paying off.

Enjoy!
