Over the past few days, Stardock’s CEO, Brad Wardell, has been tweeting some really interesting details about DX12. As Brad Wardell noted, in a recent test he saw over 100fps difference between DX11 and DX12. This test was conducted on an unreleased GPU and as Wardell claimed, this performance boost was on a system that was ‘way beyond console stuff’. Offworld Trading Company Officially Revealed, Coming To Steam Early Access On February 12th

Stardock and Mohawk Games have officially revealed Offworld Trading Company, the highly anticipated return of Civilization IV designer Soren Johnson to the traditional PC gaming world. Stardock to Announce Three New Games in 45 Days, ‘bigger than anything we’ve done’

Stardock’s CEO, Brad Wardell, revealed that he’ll be talking about three new games in 45 days. According to Wardell, these three games are ‘bigger’ than anything Stardock has done in the past. This obviously means that these three new games will be unveiled at the end of February, though our guess is that Wardell will speak about these games during this year’s GDC. Stardock has announced that Galactic Civilizations III is now in beta and available on Steam Early Access for $44.99, five dollars off its regular $49.99 price. Tying together incomparable scale, online multiplayer for the first time in franchise history, and Stardock’s reputation for delivering some of the highest-rated strategy games of all time, Galactic Civilizations III aims to be the definitive 4X space strategy game.
