SEGA has acquired the developers of Two Point Hospital, Two Point Studios

SEGA announced today the acquisition of Two Point Studios, the Farnham-based developer behind the award-winning Two Point Hospital. Two Point Studios had been working with SEGA Europe in a publishing partnership capacity since January 2017 as part of SEGA Europe’s Searchlight programme. The Searchlight team look for exciting new development talent, working on new IP, with franchise potential, and this acquisition is the first of its kind of as a direct result of this internal initiative. Sonic Adventure 2 gets a 2GB AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack, available for download right now

Modder ‘[Hazmat]’ has released a new HD Texture Pack for Sonic Adventure 2. According to the modder, each texture was upscaled using an advanced Neuro-Network AI, with the scale set at 4X for the level textures and 8X for the skybox textures. Catherine Classic beta patch 1.3 released, removes 30fps Boss animations, improves mouse cursor

SEGA has released a new beta patch for the PC version of Catherine Classic. According to the release notes, beta patch 1.3 unlocks the Boss animations by removing their 30fps lock, unrestricts mouse cursor and suppresses the aggressive selection of Nvidia GPU on dual GPU devices. New Sonic 3 & Knuckles fan remaster, Sonic 3 A.I.R., is now available for download

YouTube’s ‘Eukaryot’ has released a new fan remaster of the classic Sonic 3 & Knuckles game, called Sonic 3 A.I.R. Sonic 3 A.I.R. is built on top of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles Steam version, meaning that you’ll need this Steam version in order to play this fan remaster.
