I don’t know which is more pathetic: Bethesda finally killing Human Head Studios or HHS sending Rune 2 out to die

A couple of hours ago, Bethesda announced the formation of Roundhouse Studios. As the publisher noted, Roundhouse is staffed by the team from the recently closed Human Head Studios. Rune Ragnarok renamed to Rune II, will be exclusive to Epic Games Store

Human Head Studios has announced that Rune Ragnarok has been renamed to Rune II and will be coming to the Epic Games Store this Summer. Inspired by the original Rune (2000), RUNE II is set in a dangerous Norse universe during Ragnarok, the end of days, where beasts and the last remaining humans alike struggle to survive. Rune’s sequel will be a fast action third person game, but with many more tactical options

Earlier this month, Human Head revealed – via their Rune Facebook page – that they are interested in reviving this old franchise. Although nothing is certain at this point, Human Head co-founder and senior level designer Ted Halsted revealed that the sequel of the game will be a fast action third person game with many more tactical options, similar to how modern-day shooters are (compared to the old school ones).
