Another week, another weekly GTA IV Gallery. Contrary to all previous weeks though, today we’ll be solely focusing on the latest beta version of iCEnhancer 2.0. We bloody well know that a lot of you are so into GTA: San Andreas and can’t wait to re-play it. Well, good news for all of you as modder Rikintosh has released his Advanced Graphics Settings Mod for it. This is basically a graphical overhaul that comes with a new reflection system (different than the one of the ENBSeries), SSAO, SM 3.0 and SAMP support, advanced lighting, enhanced effects, improved lights and improved normal maps. It seems that GTA IV will remain one of the best looking games of 2012. I know, it’s ironic, but GTA IV’s modders have accomplished some truly jaw-dropping results that can be easily described as next-generation visuals. In an attempt to further improve GTA IV’s visuals, Hayssam Keilany is developing the next version of his iCEnhancer mod. In case you are interested in it, iCEnhancer 2.0 – Beta 3 will be available for some people on its official the forum tomorrow, as Keilany needs some testers. As always, iCEnhancer 2.0 will be compatible with only the 1040 version of GTA IV. In addition, Keilany released some new screenshots from this latest build that can be viewed bellow. Enjoy! So, one good fella – who doesn’t want to be named – mailed me these new screenshots of iCEnhancer GTA IV. These are some brand new screenshots from the latest version of Hayssam Keilany’s mod, and I was really puzzled. You see, in their thumbnail-ed form, they looked like real photos and I was wondering whether or not he had mistaken the screenshots. But upon opening them, I came to realize that these are actual, in-game shots of GTA IV. This is the first as I’ve never been fooled like that before and shows what amazing visuals Keilany’s next version of iCEnhancer will bring to the table. Rockstar released yesterday a new update for the PC version of L.A. Noire. Be warned that this update might break compatibility with the 60fps workaround, so back up everything before applying this patch. According to the release notes, the new patch comes with improvements to the game’s performance. Therefore, go ahead and download it if you are experiencing performance issues. If, on the other hand, the game runs smoothly to you, there is no reason in updating it. This new update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Do you know why I love all these modded GTA IV screenshots? Because they give us a glimpse of how next-generation graphics will actually look like. I bet that I’m not the only one wishing for a big leap in graphics and although right now we are – kind of – stuck with current generation consoles, we can take a look at the future with the following screenshots that GTA IV’s modders have captured. So, special thanks go to Dpeasant3, Vinz005, icelaglace, Slixent, Raigen, goobz, fzn09, opezdl, RAIKAMAN, and DarK64.
