L.A. Noire Gets A Pretty Cool Blooper Video

Depth Analysis, the Australian tech firm that supplied the motion-tracking technology used by Team Bondi’s adventure title has released a blooper video, showcasing what can actually happen when actors forget their lines or burst into laugher. This video also shows off some of the witnesses of this technique, as there is no way to edit an animation once it has been completed and featured in the game. Kudos to ‘George’ for spotting it. L.A. Noire gets a Midweek Deal on Steam with a 75% discount

Rockstar and Valve are offering a great deal to all adventure/action-adventure fans out there. L.A. Noire comes this week with a 75% discount, meaning that it will only cost you 9.99 euros. L.A. Noire is an interesting third person game that features some of the best facial expresions we’ve ever seen. Although not as polished (in both graphics and as a port) as Max Payne 3, L.A. L.A. Noire PC gets a DX11 Patch

Now here is a nice surprise. A few hours ago, Rockstar released a new patch for the PC version of L.A. Noire. This new patch adds DX11 support to this unique third person adventure game and it improves performance on many Windows Vista and Windows 7 setups using DX11 graphics cards. Unfortunately, DX10 owners won’t be able to take advantage of this new renderer. L.A. Noire PC – New Update Released

 

Rockstar released yesterday a new update for the PC version of L.A. Noire. Be warned that this update might break compatibility with the 60fps workaround, so back up everything before applying this patch. According to the release notes, the new patch comes with improvements to the game’s performance. Therefore, go ahead and download it if you are experiencing performance issues. If, on the other hand, the game runs smoothly to you, there is no reason in updating it. This new update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. L.A. Noire – 30FPS Cap and Black Bars Removal

Okay PC gamers, here is something special for you today. By now, most of you will probably know that the PC version of L.A. Noire is locked at 30fps. Well, not anymore. Rage3D’s user ‘jackfuste’, the man behind the FPS workarounds for both Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 1 & 2, has released a 30FPS removal for Rockstar’s adventure game. Moreover, this executable file also removes the black bars on 4:3, 5:4 and 16:10 resolutions, which is a big plus. To put it simple; this is how L.A. Noire should be in the first place.
