Red Dead Redemption Damned Enhancement overhaul mod has been cancelled, again

In August 2019, we informed you about Red Dead Redemption Damned Enhancement; an overhaul mod for the X360 and PS3 versions of the first Red Dead Redemption game. This mod aimed to bring new graphical features to the game so that PC gamers could enjoy via both X360 and PS3 emulators. However, it appears that the project has been cancelled… again. Take-Two attempts to shut down the “Red Dead Redemption PC Remaster” project

Last month, we informed you about a Red Dead Redemption PC Remaster project that DamnedDev has been working on. This project was basically a mod for the PS3 and X360 versions of Red Dead Redemption. Basically, think of it as all the texture packs we’ve been getting for the Nintendo Wii/WiiU games. However, it appears that Take-Two is currently trying to shut this project down. Modders are already working on an unofficial Red Dead Redemption Remaster for PC, first screenshots

Red Dead Redemption has not been released officially on the PC, however it appears that an unofficial remake is already happening. This remaster, called Red Dead Redemption: Damned Enhancement Project, will be based on the Xenia/RPCS3 versions. However, only PC gamers will be able to enjoy this remaster. The recent Red Dead Redemption Remake and RDR 2 DLC rumours are fake, leaker admits

A few days ago, a rumour surfaced about a remake for the first Red Dead Redemption. Now as you may have noticed, we didn’t share that rumour as it appeared to be bogus, and we were right.
