Rainbow Six Siege Operation Orchid goes live tomorrow, will add a new map & three operators

Ubisoft announced today that Operation Blood Orchid, the Year 2 Season 3 add-on content for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, will launch September 5th. This add-on content will introduce a Theme Park map that will be available at no additional cost for all players. Starting September 5th, season pass holders will be able to access three new operators and their signature weapons skins. All other players will be able to unlock the new content starting September 12th using Renown or R6 Credits. Rainbow Six: Siege – Next PC patch will be at least 26GB, will feature Ultra HD texture optimizations

Ubisoft has announced that the next PC patch for Rainbow Six: Siege will be huge in size. According to the company, the non-Ultra HD PC patch will be 26GB, while the Ultra HD PC patch will be 42GB. During its fiscal call, Ubisoft revealed some new details about its current and upcoming titles. Ubisoft has announced that it will push back the Rainbow Six: Siege’s second season, set in Hong Kong, in order to focus and improve the game’s tech issues. Ubisoft has announced that a new patch for Rainbow Six: Siege will be released later today. This patch will update your game’s version to 2.1.3, and comes with tweaks to Glaz’s scope will make it easier to know when a shot lands or misses.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege – Patch 2.1.1 release notes unveiled, will be out tomorrow

Ubisoft has just revealed the release notes for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming patch 2.1.1. According to the release notes, this brand new update comes with a number of gameplay fixes, balance tweaks, some LOD fixes for various  levels and general fixes for bugs that have been reported by the game’s community. Rainbow Six: Siege has 13 million registered players, has 3.9 million weekly players

Bertrand Chaverot, director of Latin America at Ubisoft, revealed that Rainbow Six: Siege has more than 13 million registered players. That’s a really impressive number, considering the somehow disappointing initial state of the game. Ubisoft realized the potential of this title and after numerous improvements, enhancements and free content, Rainbow Six: Siege was able to turn the tide.
