PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds won’t work with Reshade installed, may also block NVIDIA Shadowplay

Bluehole Studio has announced that it will release its anti-cheat update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. However, and even though at first Reshare was allowed, this new anti-cheat system will not be compatible with it. As such, players will have to completely uninstall Reshade in order to play PUBG. Freestyle is among the coolest features NVIDIA has implemented in its drivers

Last week, NVIDIA released a brand new driver for its graphics card. Among other things, the NVIDIA GeForce 390.65 WHQL added support for Freestyle; a tool lets you apply post-processing filters to your games while you play. NVIDIA unveils 65 inches HDR gaming monitors with 120Hz GSync tech

At this year’s CES event, NVIDIA unveiled that it’s working on brand new HDR gaming monitors. Called BFGD (Big Format Gaming Displays), these gaming monitors support 4K resolutions, are HDR-ready, come with NVIDIA’s GSync technology and even have NVIDIA SHIELD integrated into them. Yesterday, a lot of AMD fans were celebrating as it was discovered that Intel’s CPUs were affected by a fundamental design flaw (codenamed ‘Meltdown‘). And while this issue has been addressed by Microsoft and Intel, another design flaw has surfaced that affects all CPUs. Codenamed ‘Spectre‘, this security threat can affect old-gen and current-gen consoles, handhelds, smartphones, and PC systems using both Intel’s and AMD’s CPUs. NVIDIA has announced that it will end support for 32 bit operating systems really soon. After its upcoming GeForce 390 drivers, the green team will no longer support 32-bit operating systems.
