NVIDIA confirms that Red Dead Redemption 2 will not have any Ray Tracing effects

Yesterday, we shared some new screenshots for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Those screenshots came from NVIDIA and had a GeForce RTX logo in them. As we guessed, that logo only promoted NVIDIA’s RTX 20 series graphics cards. NVIDIA did not plan to hint at any Ray Tracing effects. And it appears we were right. NVIDIA has created a gaming studio to remaster classic PC games with Ray Tracing effects

It appears that Quake 2 RTX will not be the only remaster for which NVIDIA will be adding real-time ray tracing effects. NVIDIA claims that Call of Duty Modern Warfare will run with 60fps in 4K/Ultra with Ray Tracing on RTX2080
